Ladysmith Real Estate
Ladysmith is a town located on the east coast of Vancouver Island British Columbia, Canada. The local economy is based on forestry, tourism and agriculture.
Incorporated on June 3, 1904, the Town of Ladysmith was built on a hillside close to the harbour and now has a population of approximately 8,100. It is located in the beautiful Cowichan Valley, just 30 km north of Duncan, 88 km north of Victoria and 23 km south of Nanaimo.
Ladysmith BC is also known for its annual "Festival of Lights in which the entire commercial sector and many homes are decorated with strings of colourful lights for six weeks in celebration of Christmas.
